Sunday Style [Christmas]
I've been thinking about Christmas Eve and Morning activities. Normally we go out to eat Christmas Eve with my immediate family and then go over to Grandma's for Christmas morning church and brunch. So for Day 11 of Christmas gifts, grab a gift for yourself! I think a great, comfortable dress is a staple in a wardrobe, in fact I have one for at least every day of the week, and these two are both versatile and fit the occasion.

A Little Holiday Sparkle
Currently loving the sequin trend going on right now, but since I have very little money to purchase a beautiful statement piece, I bought some sparkle nail polish to add a festive gleam to my outfits. Loving OPI Mad as a Hatter.
Also can't get enough of debbie lippmann's nude glitter polish- huge glitter chunks mixed with smaller pieces, yes please.

Style Crush [Grace]
With all of the early 1900 shows and movies coming out I find myself constantly surprised at the beauty of certain eras and how women represented themselves through clothing. Grace Kelly is one of the most beautiful women in my opinion. Her fashion and the way she carried herself was always as a lady and I find myself inspired by her sense of style lately.
The museum of London currently has a few of her more famous outfits on display and a few designers have looked to her for inspiration, especially J. Mendel.

Trend Alert: Braids and ponytails for fall
On the runway women's hair has a fresh new feel to it- it looks like they did it themselves. I appreciate the messy braids, low ponytails, and half-up dos that look like the models did it themselves before stepping out on the runway. New Addction
I'm currently obsessed with the new show Pan Am. I have missed Christina Ricci and all of the other actresses are beautiful and carry the era well. Again, period costumes are well done and simply beautiful to look at.

Playing Marilyn
Michelle Williams makes a beautiful Marilyn Monroe. I'm excited for her new movie to come out- the costumes alone look like they will provide 2 hours of gorgeousness to look at.
She did a beautiful spread for this month's Vogue that is worth reading.I think Michelle might inspire some costumes come this Halloween.
