My Kind of Camping

As the summer is slowly coming to a close (at least for some of us in the way of free time and having to get back to work) I would really love to at least attempt to go camping before school starts- I realize this means SOON, like this weekend. But if I go, I want to go in style.

So this may be from a wedding blog, but who wouldn't want to camp like this? Just because it's rustic does not mean it can't be pretty. A more realistic version of this would probably involve hurricane candles in hanging lanterns, but this looks so pretty.

I first saw this on pintrest and it sparked my interest in hanging tents. This looks so comfy and much warmer that sleeping on the ground. A take on the hammock that I won't fall out of.

I probably would have camped a lot more as a child if this had been an option. I love the fun colors and the nod to 1950's cabanas at the beach, plus it looks easy to hang/assemble. Yes please.

I'm trying to imagine this with some Anthropologie bed linens and you have my perfect backyard oasis.

While this would make me nervous climbing in, I love the look and idea. Probably as close to a nest as any of us will get, but so cozy. If it had a more sturdy tarp over it, it could be reading nook outside in all weather.
